Application: services that we make available via our website www.e-lit.ro; our platform; other media, products, services, software that currently exist or are developed at a later date. E-LIT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to stipulate that some of our products or services are governed by separate conditions and not by these Terms and Conditions.
E-LIT: the web site e-lit.ro and my.e-lit.ro
Application: E-LIT application available for Android and IOS operating systems through which you create, edit and share your E-LIT profile
E-LIT profile: all the data that you configure through the application (Name, Occupation, Profile photo, Social media link, etc.)
Content: everything that you and other users upload, deliver, or share by using E-LIT.
Data: all data, including the content or information of a user that you or a third party can retrieve from a E-LIT Card or can provide to E-LIT through the application.
Use and using: this is making use of, executing, performing, copying, publishing or displaying, distributing, modifying, translating and creating E-LIT Cards or derivative products.
E-LIT: SC EXPENSIVE-LIT S.R.L., a Romanian legal entity registered at the Trade Register with no. J32 / 613/2021, unique registration code 43993374, with headquarters in Str. 1 Mai, Nr. 16, Talmaciu, Sibiu Romania.
These conditions apply to the website www.e-lit.ro owned and managed by E-LIT.
When using or visiting our website in any way or use it in any other way for the first time, you will be invited to check our Conditions and to accept them. By doing so, we want you to be aware of what E-LIT is about and and explain why we want you to comply with these Conditions. These are the only valid ones, with the exclusion of any other conditions, and apply to all services and initiatives of E-LIT.
We reserve the right to amend provisions from these conditions. In that case these new conditions will apply from the moment of publication. If one or more points from these terms and conditions prove to be impossible or only partially enforceable, this leaves the validity of the other provisions unaffected. Archived versions of the terms of use are available on request.
E-LIT operates an application that allows you to quickly share your contact details with other people through the use of an NCF-enabled plastic card. The purpose of this card is to limit paper waste and the waste of time and energy of the card owner.
Every user is granted a limited right of use of E-LIT card. The scope of this usage right will vary according to the functionalities that the user has at his disposal. This usage right is provided in the form of a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license. This license does not entitle the user to sell, copy, transfer or (sub)license the services of E-LIT in any kind whatsoever.
Access to the services provided through E-LIT card is limited to registered users. Every registration requires the user to provide a correct, truthful, up-to-date and complete depiction. E-LIT can regard certain information as essential for a registration. It is the sole responsibility of the user to keep the information up-to-date.
Each registered user profile is individual, personal and confidential and cannot be transferred to third parties. E-LIT does not check the profiles, but reserves the right to suspend an account or even cancel it if a user does not comply with the rules regarding registration and security, as defined below:
- do not provide false personal information and do not create an account for someone else without permission;
- do not create more than one personal account;
- if we deactivate your account, do not create another account without our permission;
- do not use E-LIT if you are a minor;
- keep your contact information accurate and up to date;
- do not share your password with others, do not allow anyone access to your account, and do not do anything that could damage the security of your account;
- do not transfer your account (including communities that you manage) to someone else without our written permission;
E-LIT does its best to keep the application and cards as safe as possible. Also, data security depending on how you deal with your account and physical cards. We need your help to keep our application safe. In addition, the usage right has limits. Use may not be contrary to our terms and conditions, the rights of third parties and the laws. Therefore, you must adhere to the following (non-limitative) rules:
- do not use software programs that can collect data from other users;
- do not use a false identity;
- do not upload viruses or other harmful code;
- do not ask people for their login details and do not log in to someone else’s account;
- do not use E-LIT for unlawful, misleading, malicious or discriminatory activities;
- do not do anything that could disrupt, overburden, or render the correct operation of our application; and
- do not facilitate or encourage violation of this Statement or our policies.
Usage of rights that is non-compliant with these Conditions enable E-LIT to unilaterally take temporary sanctions or remedial measures. In case of repeated non-compliance E-LIT has the right to end userships after having summoned the user to act in accordance with these Conditions.
The user is not entitled to compensation of any nature whatsoever, following the aforementioned measures.
The information that E-LIT itself places on the application is delivered and displayed without any form of guarantee. The information distributed via banners, html pages, flash, photos, videos, articles or other media provided by third parties are not the responsibility of E-LIT. E-LIT is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, usability, reliability and topicality of the information on the site and for the consequences of any action/decision taken on the basis of the information provided.
E-LIT does not guarantee that the application will always be safe, secure or error-free or that it will always work without malfunctions, delays or irregularities. Disruptions, interruptions or errors in the electronic delivery of our services through our website do not in any case give rise to any reimbursement or compensation.
E-LIT may contain hyperlinks to websites or to web pages of third parties and other parties or refer to them in a different way. E-LIT has no control over the content or other characteristics of these websites or web pages and is in no way liable for their content or characteristics.
E-LIT is also not liable for viruses, if these, despite the precautions taken on the site, would occur. E-LIT cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever caused by an error and/or negligence committed by subcontractors of E-LIT.
If someone files a claim against E-LIT relating to unlawful acts of a user, content or information on E-LIT and that claims proofs to be correct, that user indemnifies E-LIT against all damages, losses and expenses related to such claim (including reasonable legal fees and costs). While we provide rules for user behavior, we do not monitor or control user actions on E-LIT and are not responsible for the content or information that users transfer on the application. We are not responsible for any offensive, inappropriate, obscene, illegal, or otherwise condemnable content or information found on E-LIT. We are not responsible for the online or offline behavior of our users. We try to keep E-LIT online, error-free and secure, but you use the application at your own risk. We offer the application as it is, without express or implied warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-compliance.
Any fact that could give rise to liability of E-LIT must also be reported to E-LIT in writing, fully motivated and documented within ten days of the discovery of that fact, in default of which the user can no longer hold E-LIT liable and waives any claim against E-LIT, of any kind, arising from that fact. This short term is motivated by the need to be able to make the necessary observations quickly and accurately.
E-LIT assumes in good faith that its data collection activities such as, but not limited to, scraping can be carried out lawfully at the request of the user.
The user owns (and takes full responsibility for it) all contact information submitted on the application and can use the card settings to determine how their information is shared with other people.
When users delete their information, they acknowledge and understand that deleted content may remain present in backups for a reasonable period of time (but is not available to others) and remains on the E-LIT accounts of the people who scanned their card.
We respect the rights of others and expect the user to do so, too.
The user cannot pretend to be someone else or take action that violates another person’s rights or violates the law in any other way. We may remove information you share through application if we consider this to be violating our policies. If we have removed content for violating another person’s rights and the user believes it is unjustified, the user can raise an appeal via office@e-lit.ro. If the user repeatedly infringes the rights of others, we will deactivate the account. The user will not use our copyrights, trademarks or brands that appear to be confusing in this way, except when this is expressly permitted in writing.
Any claims, legal proceedings or disputes that the user has with us, can only be processed before the courts of Romania and are subject to the laws of the country of Romania.

Online with credit card through NETOPIA Payments (Visa/Maestro/Mastercard).
If you’ve chosen to pay online using a debit or credit card, you will be guided to fill out the information about your card by the secure page of our payments processor.
- Credit/debit cards issued by Visa and MasterCard (Visa/Visa Electron and MasterCard/Maestro) are processed through the “3-D Secure” system. The “3-D Secure” system is developed by organizations/entities ensuring online payments have the same level of security as transactions performed at the ATM or in a physical merchant’s store.
- “3-D Secure” ensures that no information about your card is transferred or stored, at any given time, on the merchant’s server, nor on the servers belonging to the payments processor. The card information is directly transferred to Visa or MasterCard systems.
Important! No fees are applied on debit/ credit card payments!
